## Common questions

### What is CitroTech?

CitroTech, Inc. is a publicly traded wildfire-protection company (NYSE American: CITR). It makes the CitroTech® family of fire-protection chemistry — CitroTech-31, an EPA Safer Choice recognized fire inhibitor for vegetation and defensible space, and CitroTech-34, a clear-drying fire-retardant treatment for wood — and CitroSafe™ systems, remotely activated sprinklers that apply CitroTech around homes and properties.

### What’s the difference between CitroTech-31 and CitroTech-34?

CitroTech-31 is a ready-to-use fire inhibitor for vegetation, roadsides, and defensible space; it dries clear on plants. CitroTech-34 is a clear-drying fire-retardant treatment for wood — interior framing, exterior assemblies, and structural components — applied by spray or factory treatment.

### How does CitroTech work?

Applied to vegetation, CitroTech-31 forms a thin, transparent barrier that disrupts the chemical chain reaction required for combustion, inhibiting ignition at the surface. Applied to wood, CitroTech-34 dries clear, integrates with the surface fibers, and enhances ignition resistance.

### Who does CitroTech work with?

Homeowners, builders and the lumber industry, government agencies and utilities, and ground crews and vegetation contractors. Installation and spray application are delivered by CitroTech’s team and its network of Certified Partners.

### Where is CitroTech based?

Corporate headquarters are in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Manufacturing and operations are in Oceanside, California.
